Canción Americana (2006) is a study in tremolando chords on the marimba. Making use of hymn-like harmonies, gentle and atmospheric chord progressions are explored by the marimba player as a concert opener. Written for renowned Bulgarian, UK based, percussionist Daniella Ganeva.
